7 ways for employees to engage with Mission and Ministry
Recognizing that some of Marquette University’s greatest assets are its employees, faculty and staff are invited to engage with the offerings of the Mission and Ministry Division

Marquette University’s Office of Mission and Ministry seeks to welcome all employees with diverse spiritual backgrounds to feel invited into the Catholic, Jesuit tradition of the University. The Mission and Ministry Division is made up of the Office of Mission and Ministry, the Faber Center for Ignatian Spirituality (offerings for faculty and staff), and Marquette University Campus Ministry (offerings for students). For new employees, the invitation is extended and for seasoned faculty and staff, the invitation reiterated for the following 7 Ways to Engage with Marquette’s Mission:
- Seek knowledge and appreciation for the foundational principles of Ignatian Spirituality, Jesuit Education and the Catholic Faith through storytelling online. Connect with us:

2. Enjoy and visit Sacred Spaces on Marquette’s campus.
3. Build community among colleagues around the mission of the school through events like the Ignatian Year, Mission Convocation, and annual tradition events of the Mass of the Holy Spirit, Mission Week, and the Baccalaureate Mass.
4. Take advantage of professional development opportunities and tools to provide employees the language and abilities to confidently talk about the Mission among students, colleagues, and the greater community.
5. Grow in your own faith and personal spiritual formation through the Faber Center for Ignatian Spirituality.
6. Engage with students in social justice initiatives, immersion and service experiences, and faith formation inspired by Ignatian Spirituality as leaders and mentors in programs sponsored by Marquette University Campus Ministry.
7. Drive social change through thought and action with the Center for Peacemaking.
